You take the easy guaranteed scum lynch first and worry about the rest later. It's Mafia 101 and also the correct pro-town play.

There's a chance PJ flips town. There is zero chance Scare flips town. The fact that I have to stay awake explaining this to people is why I have such a low opinion of this player base.

Guess I'm a risk taker. Plus killing cop is beneficial to scum. They'd likely kill him overnight if we leave him alone

Interesting night kill choice. I fully expected it to be VI. Don't know why scum would target someone who was so high on the chopping block, but whatever. I pre wrote out most of my initial post for the day:

Don’t mean to sound as if I’m bragging, but just goes to show my logic wasn’t a “conspiracy theory” like you thought Leaf. Scare was both scum and not an accurate scanner as I theorized before :P
Same to PJ for putting so much stock into what a literal claimed scum player said.

I reread Oddity and Scare’s posts, and I find it hilarious that Oddity outright dipped the moment he was assumed to be town by a lot of people. Then like Nana said, he basically just coasted the rest of the day with few fucks given. Terrible, just terrible. His reasoning for going after me and not Nana is outright contradictory. His only other post of meaning in this topic before the day ended was to “ask for questions” which feels like such a non-town move. As opposed to rereading to find more detailed reads, or giving more thorough thoughts on the game, he chooses the lazy route then dips. Nana claimed he was a good player previously, and I don’t see it in his play from this game at all.
Scare also dipped after he found out he fumbled by relying on Oddity like he did.

I can’t tell if Ben is just playing worse than usual (no offense, clearly this isn’t my best game either :/) or if he’s scum. Seems as if he was too quick to nearly instantly believe anyone who had any semblance of a scan. Like here and here

He even immediately believed Scare who was claimed nontown. I also don’t like how he did the 180 from being so against leashing third party in topic three to saying that we should essentially leash Scare in this topic.

You never responded to the fact that I voted Oddity (two days in a row at that) without even knowing what he claimed. And you also never responded to the fact that I said his claim felt inconsistent and fake based on the reasons I gave (him not being blocked and happening to scan Ulti, as well as Ulti shooting Shadow for no apparent reason).
Do you feel the same about me now knowing that it was misguided to trust Scare and that Oddity could still be scum as I theorized? And while I’m at it, why were you so sure Nana was town even though his reasoning essentially echoed my own?
