Location of the fight: Bubbly Clouds - Fighters battle in the sky on thick clouds that are for some reason able to support weight, as seen in Kirby's Dreamland. The clouds are dense enough that jumping from cloud to cloud is reasonable, and many are large enough to hold several fighters per cloud, but missing a jump causes a fall of thousands of feet to the ground. The clouds extend infinitely into the distance, separated by varying distances between each other, and are destructible with a concerted effort. Attackers and defenders will start the fight separated 150 meters from each other.. Which side will win? Guidelines - The fight will occur in real-time (like an FMV sequence). Gameplay mechanics are less important than how the characters would function in a real-time environment. - The members of each team are ideal teammates capable of a pre-selected plan of battle. - "Broken" refers to a lot of things, including insta-death, auto-effects, a variety of status effects (e.g., Imp, Silence, Stop, not Poison), and revival. Unless stated otherwise, nobody has them, though do use your own discretion. - There may be SPOILERS from all of the games the characters are from. She has fully mastered the Controller skill tree, and is equipped with the HellFire, Baby Maker and Tsunami SMGs, the Cobra, Penetrator and Lyuda sniper rifles and the Flame of the Firehawk shield, with Corrosive ammunition for the Baby Maker, Penetrator and Lyuda. He can operate here same as he does on the Net. Kirby is as seen in the Kirby Super Star and Smash series. He has full use of his Smash Brothers Moveset along with the moves from his Beam, Parasol and Ice forms. (He has also inhaled Lilith, gaining a set of moves fitting her). He cannot inhale enemy fighters nor create helpers from his abilities during the match, but can inhale anything else and will not lose access to his forms due to taking damage. Whenever Kirby receives a buff (both those from abilities and those received in battle), any parameters of it (i.e. duration, potency) are doubled. Yu Narukami (MC) is as he appears in Persona 4. He has the persona Izanagi available, with all default skills from P4 learned in addition to all the moves from Persona 4 Arena, with the exception of his mortal blow or gameplay mechanics (invincibility frames, etc). He also can freely switch to his persona Norn, who only has their natural non-passive skills and elemental affinities. Liquid Snake is as seen during the Hind D boss fight in Metal Gear Solid. He will pilot the helicopter in from the nearest convenient location on his team's side. He may not leave the Hind and if it goes down, it can be assumed Liquid has gone down with it. Rikku is as she appears in Final Fantasy X, equipped with Godhand and a Tercio without SOS Reflect. She has access to her own sphere grid. She has brought 5 each of Healing Spring, Al Bhed Potion, Chocobo Feather, Star Curtain and Bomb Core to battle and can use any combination of them with Use or her Mix Overdrive, provided sufficient Overdrive has been built. Liquid's HIND-D!?! and Samus's Gunship piloted by Rikku can both instantly crack this match open. There's no cover, and it's wide open space at 150m, and they both have weapons with long effective ranges to immediately open fire on the enemy team with. The gunship in particular might literally be unkillable with the enemy team's armament. It has strong shields (keeping in mind it tanks metroid level tech-- Lilith doesn't have the firepower) and self repair features. It has a front mounted power cannon and a rear mounted plasma cannon-- same kinda stuff Samus uses but bigger I'd imagine since it's ship mounted. Also a missile launcher which fires volleys of 11 missiles at a time. Rikku's prodigious skill with machina and that the match write-up says she is piloting the thing coming in should be enough evidence that she'll be fine piloting it. On top of that, Kirby's team is just straight up stronger and better suited to cloud combat. Everyone can fly but Yu, and Yu has a couple of great moves for this terrain. Magarudyne deals Heavy Wind Damage to all foes-- wind damage seems perfect for knocking people off balance or straight off the clouds, or just outright dispersing clouds and sending people falling to their doom. He also has Debilitate if anyone decides to be a dodge monkey, a debuff which reduces Evasion and Hit Rate for a while (as well as attack and defense). Kirby with Lilith's power probably has a variant of her Penetrator or Lyuda sniper rifle to contribute-- and he'll be under less pressure than her so he's more likely to get a chance. FurtherKirby's powers could be considered a buff-- so maybe he's better at being Lilith than Lilith!? Now BASS probably wants to get in a bit closer to do his stuff optimally but his flight and rapid fire volleys should work well here if needed. Also Yuffie who is thinking like Knux is going to be all but worthless-- he probably tries to glide between clouds, so this is basically a 5v3. And my personal favorite element that will contribute... that damn motorcycle Lilith has decided to ride in on. It screws her team in two ways: 1. She has to get off the motorcycle to start the fight, wasting valuable time, because Lilith isn't going to shoot guns and drive a motorcycle at the same time (and the motorcycle is pretty bad here anyway-- driving it without mad cred would be certain death) 2. First, let’s take the pilot into consideration – this isn’t Samus piloting her own ship, this is Rikku. How long she has had to adjust to the ship’s controls is open to interpretation, but she’s certainly not going to be an expert pilot by any means, especially without Samus there to help her. I give her enough credit to not horribly crash and die, at least, but hitting speedy moving targets may prove difficult and friendly fire from the rocket splash damage is a real possibility if she’s careless. The main threat on my team is Lilith, and she’s a threat that I’m not convinced that the enemy team can deal with. Keep in mind that all buffs on her are doubled and Yuffie is here with a full compliment of spells, so the enemy team will have to handle a double Hasted/Barrier/etc. Siren that can stealth every few seconds at will. She also has Corrosive ammo on most of her weapons, which deals additional damage to vehicles – this directly affects the two biggest threats on the enemy team (Rikku and Liquid). Finally, Lilith is a Controller, which means her bullets have a chance to Daze enemies, reducing their movement speed and accuracy – this could make navigating the clouds difficult for the rest of the enemy team that’s stuck on foot. She’s backed up by Cloud Strife, who’s more than a capable fighter on his own. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Advent Children, but Cloud has an extended aerial fight scene there, so he’s certainly no stranger to fighting in the air and maneuvering around. If Lilith can sufficiently distract the enemy team and he can close the gap between the two teams, he can inflict some serious damage, especially if he is able to Omnislash. Terra is also here with Ultima, and is capable of nuking the enemy team if left unchecked. Finally, REYuffie is here to deliver buffs and be a generally competent mage (I give her more credit than Kirby, at least!). The enemy team is capable, but individually doesn’t have anyone capable of taking down Lilith or Cloud if the gunship is taken down.
