"Nearly two-thirds (63 percent) of Republicans still believe the White House's first rationale for Comey's firing was that the FBI director was dismissed for poorly handling the investigation into Hillary Clinton emails, according to a recent public poll from NBC and the Wall Street Journal. Overall, 38 percent of Americans still believe Clinton's emails were behind the firing, according to the poll conducted from May 11 to 13.

Trump's decision to fire Comey still isn't playing well with the American public overall; only 29 percent of Americans approve of the decision, while 38 percent disapprove. And the reactions continue to be partisan; 58 percent of Republicans approved of Trump's decision, while 66 percent of Democrats disapproved. This is a continuation of early public polling on Comey's firing from multiple outlets that showed Republicans were largely brushing off the Comey story.

One thing has changed however: Overall, 78 percent of surveyed Americans said they prefer a special prosecutor or independent investigation into the possible ties between Trump's campaign and Russia, including 68 percent of Republican voters. This has been a major call among Democratic lawmakers in Washington, and a demand Republican congressional leaders have been quick to push against. But among American voters, this poll suggests there is more bipartisan support."

I don't know about Kanye, but as far as the Rock goes...

It was posted before how he is an intelligent, self-made man who is absolutely respectful of where he came from and is known for a great work ethic. He may not be ideal, but we can at least trust that he will try to learn the job and put forth his best good faith effort to live up to the responsibility of the office. Not my absolute first pick, but I trust him much more than many politicians currently in DC, and he is of course light years ahead of Trump or anyone in his administration.

Okay. That was the last straw. I'd been open to Trump accomplishing something good possibly, because I wanted to be better about Trump than Republicans were about Obama. This doesn't mean I wasn't going to roast him for his petulant behavior and ignorance, because well, he's supposed to be a mature professional and he's acting like anything but.

This, however, regardless of what he shared, crossed the line once and for all. This was his last chance. And like the dozens of chances I've been cautiously giving him before, he blew it. Hard.

Whatever problems the Democrat party has, with corruption or whatever, doesn't even hold a candle to the Republican party.

Good job guys, you just proved every one of your naysayers right about you.

the best case scenario here is that the Russians just schmoozed Trump into giving up code word info because they were stroking his ego and now other countries are not going to want to collaborate with us in the future, putting any future missions at risk.
