They are only failing perception-wise.

USA pays them so much per hour of programming no matter how bad the ratings are.

This becomes an issue in 2019 when it's time to re-negotiate but that's YEARS away. Fans will love Roman by then for sure.

The interesting thing is last time (2014) no one put in a serious bid for them besides USA, who gave them an 80% increase as a sign of good faith and a thank you for going 3 hours just for them. Vince was expecting a bidding war to drive their rights fees up at least 300%. Whoops!

I doubt there's a bidding war in 2019 either, unless Vince wants to dare use "We could just go to WWE Network" as a bluff (?)

breezango definitely just proved that they've been massively underrated this entire time. an excellent match and an absolutely entertaining show in it.

somehow, nakamura vs. ziggler put the arena to sleep after a super hot intro.
tyler breeze woke them up, had them do multiple chants about him, and got everyone back into it. that's a great talent right there. the fashion police gimmick is giving massive E&C vibes and with that skill, the comparisons just come harder.

I mean, I think a lot of people have said that Breeze and Fandango have always been totally awesome. They just never got a chance to prove it. And when they do, they put on amazing promos. They just put on an amazing, unconventional match. And the crowd bought into it completely. These guys who were just jobbers got the crowd on fire in a month. Like, take notice of this shit WWE and run with it.
