I can't say for sure what these users are actually feeling but I doubt they actually hate you. No one is walking away from their monitor or whatever going, 'Gee, that Koga guy really ruins my day/life.' Expressing criticism for you (which you often ask for) does not necessarily mean they hate you.

As for me, I think you're a nice, gentle person but just a little too sensitive and insecure. I know a lot of that stems from the hardships in your life so I hope you can overcome them one day.

Thanks for that. I know I'm not important enough in their lives for actual hatred, but they can certainly hate to see me post. I only tag the people who have rather savagely told me directly that I'm horrible, and they can't stand me. Why they don't ignore me, idk. To put it in perspective, there are a couple of users that said they wouldn't mind if I died, and one posted in my suicide topic saying they wished I'd hurry up so they wouldn't have to read me complaining any more, and I didn't even tag those guys. So the ones tagged have said things far harsher than that, and indeed confirmed they hate me as much as someone can hate a random internet guy.

I admit I do that sometimes, mostly over relationships like you said, but it's not constantly.

Several things there I could e turned on myself, but didn't. He has a current girlfriend, he had sex with an ex, he's having a kid. Never once mentioned myself there, instead I tried to be helpful and supportive.

You seem like a decent person. I've only read a few of the things he's talked about in his life whenever I drift into this board, even if some of it is a bit on the disturbing side.

I feel that I could've been like him had my life been different.

The way you were in the past made me think it was all just a lie and a gimmick and I was somewhat hard on you before. Sorry about that and I hope you get your life in order, Koga.

You care too much about what other people think and this topic is a perfect example of that. But I'll go one step further and say that you don't take that thought or criticism into consideration whatsoever because I've seen people tell you this before yet here we are with another topic like this.

You mentioned in an earlier post that leaving your family/ home would cause friction and an explosion.
In all honesty, if you leave, you no longer have to answer your phone when your family calls.
These people sound terrible. You wouldn't have to visit anymore unless you feel like it, and you could go home if you had your own place.
Be brave and you'll get there.

If I could just turn it off, I would. This is going to sound like an excuse, but when I was in therapy, he said I never learned how to generate self esteem on my own. He said people like that base their self worth entirely on his others see them. If I don't get opinions from here, all I have are what my family thinks, and what I think of myself, which isn't good.

You're right though, I think I see I can't make personal topics any more. I didn't really think just one would upset anyone too much.

It's just so much easier to believe that the negative one is telling the truth, and the nice ones aren't. I don't have a logical answer, I know it doesn't make sense and is frustrating. I apologize.

That's because there hasn't been any worth mentioning. Thanks to SkynyrdRocker I managed to start looking for a new place to live. I'm standing up to my dad when he treats my cousin the way he did me. That's about it.

You say this like you think I expect to be liked. It's quite the opposite, which is why I think I struggle with it. I've never been lived in real life, not by my parents, brother, classmates, etc... The best I ever got was indifference. So when I started posting here, and somehow people started liking me, it was really nice. It felt good, and for the first time in my life I felt accepted. Of course, I ruined that though, and people with problems with me started appearing. I guess I'm afraid of losing what little support I have.

What offline life? You guys are the only friends I've ever had, and seem to care more about me than anyone else I know. I've never considered any of you as just faceless individuals, I've tried to learn about each of you, and get to know who you are behind the screen name. No one wants to actually know each other here, when I don't post anything, I get more people to like me, as soon as I do, people criticize it. You guys like the faceless version of me, and when you get a glimpse of the real me, you hate it.

Plus, this is literally the first personal type topic I've made this year, unless you count the one where my dad almost died. Let's say I make another later, is 2 topics a year really too many?
This all comes off as "we like you, but don't really want you here.'
