I think Gaige is one of those that doesn't really have a cookie-cutter build, but I'd like opinions/thoughts.

The one I need to kill an invincible to drop? Now to figure out how to kill an invincible solo. Norfleet I believe is what you're suggesting.

i think they nerfed the fibber in some versions of the game.. But I'm pretty sure norfleet(rocket i was thining of) is still ridiculous.

I hav nfi how to play Gaige. She sucks imo but you're clearly better with her than I am. How do you overcome the glass cannon thing she's got going? The sham is only going to work in areas with enemies that actually shoot. And I guess if enemies reflect your bullets to a degree.

With gaige you either shoot around corners or make sure nothing lives longer than deathtrap.

Oh well as far as co-op goes it's possible. My friend played Gaige and I basically did all the work in that playthrough. I tried Gaige single player though and damn, she's hard to play.

Try guns such as the Conference Call. You'll love it.

Ya, CC is good. I also recall that one rifle... "don't copy that floppy" rifle... it was actually surprisingly good but you don't go too high anarchy with it. It's nice break from just spamming bullets off walls/floors.

Maxed-Anarchy Gaige with a powerful shotgun is a death goddess. I played her a few times and in the late game I rarely ever even used Deathtrap because my shotgun shots were ricocheting around killing everything around me.

Also I'm pretty sure the only good class mod for Gaige is the Terramorphus mod. You should drop into TVHM and farm one.

I think she has a good one from the bunkers and badesses gear? Pretty sure I actually liked it better than that terra mod since it was overall useful instead of bullet spamming only..

Well I just haven't found any way to incorporate Deathtrap into gameplay where he isn't simply a momentary distraction. Especially in uvhm where he dies immediately.

I feel the 2nd point in Nth Degree is wasted. Like the DPS gains between the 1st point and 2nd point is much smaller than the 0th point to the 1st point. I would just move that point to Typecast Ironclast.

you are playing coop?. Then you don't need him. if you are playing solo without norffleet good luck playing without him.

He only survives a short while. But that should be all the time you need to thin out the room you are in. It's really the only way to play gaige at high levels. sometimes you will have to wait for repop. Better than losing your anarchy stacks.

Best Friends Forever gives Deathtrap a copy of your shield(along with any special effects). Have a good shield and he'll survive pretty well.

This would work well with the Sham. Maybe the Transformer. Honestly turtle shields aren't that great. The Antagonist is another. That really narrows things down to OP equipment necessary to play as Gaige.

I mean here's the thing. If you truly need constant OP equipment to play Gaige, which is what I was finding, this means you need to constantly farm good gear which simply isn't fun. Especially if you want to keep your gear on level.

Side note: black hole shield on Doppleganger from TPS = everything owned.

More feedback after getting a chance to think more about it.

More Pep really isn't worth it. You should have no problems inflicting status as Gaige as she's best with high RoF weapons. 5 in Myelin is really a must as it's +15% to shields.

You should max Nth Degree and Typecast Ironclast.
Fancy Mathematics is not worth it if you are running blood soaked shields. Even then Unstoppable Force provides shield regen and movement speed on enemy kill.
You might want to max Better Half if you are running it, because it gives a significant DPS increase helping you build up stacks.
You also probably don't need to max Preshrunk Cyberpunk(2-3 points should do just fine).

Explosive Clap and Robot Rampage are good damage skills for Deathtrap as they do good damage and don't make Deathtrap AI too dumb.
