It's about equality right? So why are all the guys lined up to do this shitty ass work to make ends meet and provide for their family because it's expected of them. Why is it that feminists only bitch about not getting equality in white collar jobs but they for damn sure aren't complaining that they don't have to do the dirty work either.

As far as I've noticed, there are plenty of women who want to do a job in condtruction/maintenance/technical stuff (although like 90% of people in such branches are men). Honestly I think that although such women generally do support feminism, they just don't make a fuss over it.

Also, plenty of women work in sanitation. For one thing, the cleaner branch is largely occupied by women. My girlfriend used to work at garbage storting. Wasn't her job of choice, but it was work, so she said.

Nobody clamours to work in construction or sanitation dude. You do it because it pays decently and is easy to get into.

Because this "shitty work" is 90-95% men just trying to make ends meet for their family. I'm not saying they want to do it, but it gets to a point where they have to do it to survive. And it almost always falls on men to do that kind of shit. They have to be the providers.

How many more sugar daddies do you think there are than sugar moms? The fact of the matter is, on average, to make it in this world for men that don't have the smarts or whatever you want to qualify it as, they have to get these kind of jobs to make ends meet. Women in the same situation can often just find a man do it for them. You can call it sexism, call it whatever the hell you want, that's just reality man. It's not as easy for a man in that kind of situation to find that kind of hookup.

So on average I really do think the sexes are equal. Our walks on average have different tests of course. But there are perks for being a woman and there are perks for being a man. And we each have our own cons as well. You can't just cherry pick where the other side has benefits and act like your side doesn't have benefits of its own, and that's why I can't align myself with modern feminism.

You're more often than not never going to hear anyone "clamoring" to do those jobs, male or female. But people are going to do them anyway if they have to. You just probably won't hear about it, and certainly not as some inspirational success story.

Your entire argument is based on a false premise, though. There are scores of women who want to work in construction. Literally lots of them, who complain about not being given a fair chance to work in construction.

Also I'm not sure why you're painting the need to be co-dependent because society makes it difficult for women to be indepedent as a nice idea for them. This is the worst way to live for most people.

I can't speak for everyone, but I've actually experienced it personally. My wife is an auto body apprentice. We have to move 1,000 miles now because all the places here refuse to hire a woman. She's had co-workers telling her to tell her husband to force her into a less 'dirty' job. An interviewer once asked her if she 'comfortable working with men'. She worked at the same place detailing cars for 2 on the promise they would have moved her to work under a journeyman. All the guys in the shop continually try to give her orders, despite her being senior. There were two other women she worked with who went through the same thing and one of them ended up quitting and going back to school instead of trying to apprentice somewhere else.

So yeah, I can't say where they are, but I would posit the theory that some people in those fields have archaic, sexist ideologies and there for increase the difficulty for women to enter their trade.

If you look at all the most dangerous jobs, let alone low prestige and low pay ones, they are by far occupied by mostly men. Everytime STEM fields come up though, the argument is that men are evil because they are disproportionately represented. It should be obvious to anyone with a little bit of brain power that feminists are not actually interested in equal representation in all jobs.

No one is fucking saying that. They are saying that there might be some pre-conditioned biases that have convinced the vast majority that certain races/genders/etc are inferior at certain jobs. I don't understand why the majority are so personally offended by feminist critique; it's a critique of society, not of you personally. When I read Marxist critique, my first thought is not "Gee, I like having a job, why is this guy attacking me personally?!?!".
