At a minimum, games like SF2:T / SF2:CE and / SSF2 are better, and then you can make arguments for whether or not SF3 / SF4 / SF5 is better. SF2 has been pretty much superseded by SFA3 anyway. I dunno, when they started introducing all these meters and supers and things, I just lost interest. I'm not saying these are bad things, they elevated the genre.
