What kinds of stuff from High School is worth keeping, and what should I remove?

You probably shouldn't have anything from high school unless you can't fill space or the item is something like "3rd/1000 in XYZ Competition". Clubs, activities, volunteer experience, is all pretty much fluff regarding college activities, high school is even fluffier.

don't include anything from H.S. unless you're having trouble filling up a single page

Unless there's some incredibly notable achievements from HS, you can honestly skip them in a resume. Good to have for later if needed but for right now, it's best to outline most recent and largest achievements.

if it's not relevant to your field or super unique I would leave it out

I think the only thing I had on my resume from HS was being top 5 in the class, not a big deal but pretty straight-forward, and I took that off to list
job experience after that first big job of my career.

Can't even remember the last time I needed a resume. Nice to see the need for them alive and kicking still.

If you had perfect attendance that might be worth putting on the resume because it shows you are reliable.

Remove everything. Nobody cares about your HS stuff. Only leave volunteer and community service work.
