My wife and kids have had the stomach bug. I tried to keep them as far away from me as I could but I think I caught it.

Right now I'm just mildly nauseous but it's getting worse. Also have one other symptom which I will not go into detail about but I'm sure you can figure it out.

What can I do to stop the progression into full blown projectile vomiting?

not have kids and a family......the bug is already in you. You can't really get it out......just drink orange juice or something.....*is not a certified doctor or nurse*

Stay hydrated and ride it out.

Try to vomit on your family if you can as revenge.

Starting to get to the point where I can't even game to keep my mind off of it.

Move your tv and console to the bathroom.

Sit on toilet, put a TV tray in the bathtub to lean on. Have preferred gaming system in it. When needed look down to vomit, shut yourself as necessary until symptoms subside.

I've read that if you 'humm' then you won't throw up.

No, you just spray it all over the place trying to keep your lips closed to continue humming.

Stick a finger in your butt, your GI tract is a closed system and you can't throw up if you can't suck in air from the other end.

I'm afraid you're gonna die :/

Don't eat anything for a few hours, but drink water.

Get your heart rate up, and keep taking hot showers.

Keep running in place/moving around and sweating as much as you can.

You'll feel like total crap.

Keep doing it anyway.

Push through and you'll either burn the crap out of you, or end up in the hospital.

Basically will speed the whole process up, works like a charm every time. It'll clear sinuses, deal with an upset stomach etc.

Steam from the hot showers clears our your system. Sweating a ton gets the toxins out, you might pass out (not literally but just totally zonk out for a few hours), but should feel better afterwards.
