Spent like $2 on Dokkan Battle. They had some absurdly good sale on the premium currency. Also bought the full version of Mario Run if that counts.

Yes to both, but I've only ever used the money I accumulated from filling out Google Rewards surveys, so I've never actually spent any of my own money on anything.

I spent money on in-game currencies when I like the game and want to support the developer. And when this one game had an insanely good deal on theirs; iirc, it was the $99 currency pack on sale for like $3 for some reason. I liked the game, so I bought the pack.

i always assumed there was some rich Saudi oil tycoon's 9 year old son spending 20k a month on Clash of Clans gems and everyone else just played for free, but now my whole world is turned upside down

Those mobile free to play cancer games are insanely profitable. For cheap people who don't want to pay 40€ for a new game, are happy to spend 200€+ on fucking gems.

About the topic i buy almost never anything from mobile trash games. I have gotten so sick of those mobile add filled, nickel and diming infested shit games that i can't even play them anymore.

Only games where i bought additional content was kingdom rush game. In the first game none of the heroes mattered all that much, and in second the main heroes were perfect for any map, but i couldn't resist buying two on third game. I did it only to support devs, and for the reason that i have like 300 hours on their games combined already, and i'm still playing them.

I have feeling they will fuck up the fourth game, and make it free to play, which means the series will be dead to me.

Just once for Plants vs. Zombies 2. That game gives you an amazing amount of content for free. After putting over 100 hours into the game, I spent $4.99 on a new plant which also came with an extra plant slot and like 600k coins. Considering I paid $10 for the original Plant vs. Zombies, paying half that for twice the content in the sequel seemed reasonable.

The only time I've ever paid for microtransactions ever was in the ME3 multiplayer on PC because I had some leftover lousy Bioware points that I couldn't use on anything else.

that's more understandable than buying energy in Candy Crush or something

I guess the other thing is that I don't really play mobile games, but there's this other thing that extends to every form of microtransaction that involves random drops. I don't mind paying, say, $2 for a gun, but I'm not paying $2 for the chance of getting a gun.

If I spend 40+ hours on a mobile game I show my support by buying something. This has actually happened like one time ever.

I'd buy something in FFRK, but the prices are ridiculous and you can earn a decent amount of in game currency for free. Id drop $5, but to get a usable amt of mithril it's like $80 or some shit.

I've spent $40-50 on Puzzles & Dragons because it's legitimately a very well made RPG/Puzzle hybrid with constant stream of new content.

I've spent $20 on FE Heroes even though it's the worst gacha game ever (well amongst the high budget mainstream ones) because I'm a fucking idiot.

That's actually literally it. I've found no reason to spend on

Oh, I did spent 3 bucks on Pokemon Duel. Pretty good game, but I'm not into PVP to keep playing. I recommend it though

I have purchased a few games that are free to try, but I don't think I have ever done any microtransactions, like characters or in-game currency.
