I tried.

I told myself, i'd make steaks for dinner, but they didn't defrost fast enough.

I said, I had potato pancakes last night Mashed potatoes with Mozz on top and inside)...I couldn't have pizza tonight.

I tried to wait till Old School Pizza closed.

I resisted for hours.

I almost made a ham sandwich with pepporoni slices, but I couldn't bring myself to do it.

I knew.

I knew the battle was already lost.

Pizza had claimed my soul.

I have been defeated. I have ordered The Pizza.

It will be ready in 20 minutes.

I must go pick it up, in the drive of shame.

At least it will never have felt so good to lose (or tasted at least).

Why must Pizza be so irresistible?

I like pepporoni as well, but..they often give less cheese if you get it on your pizza...and I want da cheese.

I want the cheese, I really want that cheese, he wants the cheese, he really wants that cheese!!

there are ways to get around this. I find if I'm craving pizza, I mix up some pizza sauce, use some flat breads or tortilla wraps and throw some cheese on and throw it in the oven.

it might not be as good as your mom and pop shop but it gets the cravings away

See I tried this, a few days ago I made french bread pizza's, with pepporoni on them and the best mozz I could get at the store.

It was ok, but it didn't hit the spot.

Then I made the potato pancakes last night, lots of mozz goodness, but not pizza.

It just postponed the cravings a bit, but it didn't get rid of them.

The girl that worked there tonight was not happy, not a pizza lover and should not be working at a pizza place.

Most girls really like me, think i'm cute etc, and always give me extra cheese, because I obviously love it.

Often they like me so much, they don't even charge for the extra cheese!!!

I ordered double extra cheese tonight and the grumpy girl who took the order and gave me the pizza, I think she just told then to put extra cheese on it, but charged me 4$ for two extra toppings (Barely looked like more cheese then a normal slice, let alone extra cheese.

I coulda said something, but perhaps she was just having a bad day.

If that is her normal attitude though, I hope she does not work there long, the other girls where way more friendly.

The pizza was still good, and I honestly can't eat as many slices as I once did (I had 3 slices), that leaves 7 slices left as left overs.

Sadly I much prefer peperonni on my reheated pizza as cheese is never as good after it's reheated:(

I didn't get it on the pizza because I wanted to ensure I got alot of cheese, which I didn't...so it was a waste.

Oh well, my pizza cravings have been staved off for now. I feel a bit like a pizza vampire who drank a bit of blood, just enough to curb the thirst, for a few days at least.

I'm the exact opposite. I can't stand pepperoni unless its the big slabs of pepperoni, and never on pizza. Whenever I get a meat pizza I always get salami over pepperoni, unless I'm going for the boxed brands then its almost always 4 cheese pizza or Hawaiian.

I also try something a little different, especially when making sandwiches. Quiznos has a sandwich called the Beef and Swiss on Garlic Bread. I've been using garlic bread for all my sandwiches since, maybe that will take the pizza up a notch.

I've spent wayyy too much time on the internet because this topic totally had a different context for me.
