When suddenly moments after you pay, a large man walks up to your mother and knocks the food + drink out of her hands, causing it crash to the floor and spread everywhere. He then just stands there smirking and staring at her. While the whole place gasps and looks on in shock. Your mother turns to do and shouts "[Firstname]! Do something!" As it is yeah I think multiple workers (who in my experience are 20+ anyway but that's not really important) could handle one guy unless he was armed.
