Have you seen the library? You've got a HD remaster of Street Fighter 2 that looks really good, a quirky game about being a snake, Puyo Puyo Tetris, a good helping of Neo Geo ports including Metal Slug 1 and 3, a bunch of indie games like Trapper or w/e and the Binding of Isaac, and it recently got its own version of Minecraft. Among others, but those are the stand-outs.

The library isn't massive, but it's sizeable for a console that came out 2 months ago and a lot of the games that it does have are pretty bloody top notch. If the only complaint someone has of the console is "it doesn't have any games!", then they need to take a stroll through the eShop and see how solid the library has been so far. Maybe it's a bit lacking to some, but IMO there has been a decent amount of games releasing on the system since launch and the "no games!" argument is tired at best.

Saying it's a plus for the Switch is like saying PS4 wins for having Resident Evil 4 It really does though lol

I was gonna come in here and say that it'll be a miracle if Big N allows even the paltry mod allowance that the inferior PS4 version gets, and that would kill sales. But I checked back and it looks like the PS4 version of SSE outsold the XB1 version by almost double, even though it was pretty much cemented by that point that Sony was giving its gamers the short end of the mod stick. So I guess people either didn't care about mods, or didn't quite know what they were getting into as it pertained to mods when they bought their PS4 versions, and I imagine the same will hold true for Switchrim.

Personally I'll never go back to playing Skyrim on anything less than the mod availability that XB1 provides, but it would be pretty damn cool to have a game like that go portable.

It's the only portable version of PPT, for what its worth. And it's exactly the kind of game that would be best in a portable format.

IIRC the PS4 version supports full 4K which is kinda cool.

I have to assume that Sony is in turn denying its gamers all of those awesome 4K retextures and shiny new suits of armor, though (new armors are definitely out, but I'm honestly not sure if vanilla retextures would count as external assets - I'm often surprised by what does and doesn't count). So you have to really, really like Skyrim in its unmodded form for that to be a selling point over much greater mod variety.
