They're just lucky that the Wii U was such a steaming pile of failure that Mario Kart 8 might as well be a new game to most people (which is a shame, because it was amazing on Wii U too) I wouldn't be surprised if they flesh out a year or two of games with ports of Wii U titles like Smash Bros, Donkey Kong Country, Mario Maker and stuff. BotW even benefits from not having been out on Wii U prior to the launch (though I applaud Nintendo for not hamstringing the Wii U version). The Wii U couldn't even output the game above 720p with single player. Considering the switch is this tiny-ass tablet, that's pretty nuts to me.
