To be fair, in that song he himself was basically supposed to be 16-years old or so, so it wasn't quite as bad as it could have been.

That might have been their song that sounded the most awkward and felt a little bit sell-out-y back in the day, and had people going like "Okay, so they're totally out of ideas now." But it WAS a good song.

And then Will Smith went on to make a bunch more hit songs, so let the man have a little fun if he wants to.

I'd be mildly curious whether or not he's embarrassed by it these days though, or if he's still like "Hell yeah, that's still cool."

Plus I still get a laugh of how he sampled I Dream of Genie for "Girls of the World Ain't Nothing but Trouble"
