clearly you need to watch the first bring it on movie
cheerleading is a sport and does take athletic ability

and there is nothing stopping the girls from trying out for the teams themselves its just that they will have a harder time making the teams unless its specifically a girls team
not thats its impossible there are teenage girls playing football on the boys team throughout north america its just a bit more unusual

I did cheerleading in middle school and high school and enjoyed it a lot.

We had state and national competitions - it's actually a lot like marching band in that there's the side of cheerleading that supports the sports team, but the real stuff you train for are these elaborate show routines.

Maybe you should stop looking at it through a man's eye and look at how much teamwork and unity it brings cheerleaders together. Being an idol is great too

I have a friend who is a cheerleader and it has left permanent physical damage on her body. It is no joke, especially if you are a jumper like her.

Actually, it's not a sport. Not technically. As a result, it isn't subject to the same safety regulations that sports are. That's why so many cheerleaders get hurt, dying or being left with lifelong injuries.

It's just as demanding as football or marching band.
