Garioshi 05/27/17 11:28:55 PM #1:	I say semi-blind because I saw a playthrough of it maybe 5 years ago. I vaguely remember some of the plot twists and dungeons, but it's definitely not fresh in my memory. Playing the Steam version because I personally think that a framerate drop is worth saving $55. Still using a Gamecube controller because I'm not a neanderthal who uses a keyboard. Just got kidnapped by the Desians, story's pretty standard so far. Keep in mind that my Tales experience is limited to Abyss, Dawn of the New World, and some of Phantasia, so that's the lens I'm going to be seeing it through. The only gripes I have so far are the stupidity of the AI at times, how slowly the characters turn around, the fact that Lloyd's spin attack seems to activate randomly, and the fact that Lloyd's attacks don't link to his first two techs (expect me to refer to these as artes all the time, it's going to happen), but these are all minor. I'm also referencing some guides just so I make sure to get everything since I'm not gonna be spoiled. I'm several hours ahead of you if you have any questions or anything. Later games got more... mature? With their subject matter, while Symphonia was clearly written with a younger audience in mind. Not for kids or anything, but a younger crowd. Mind you, it doesn't mean Symphonia was bad at all, nor do I mean to dissuade you from enjoying it. Garioshi 05/28/17 11:21:09 PM #23:	Just beat the boss of Triet Ruins. Quite an annoying boss, as its hitbox shifts back and forth depending on how it's turning, but it's over. Basically the "easiest" way to do it is to keep someone dead for most of the game and then sub them in for the battle.
