I ran out of renewals on Xenocide, and it's on loan from another library so I can't just check it back out again. I was starting to get into it finally, but eh. A while ago, my mom loaned me a book and she seems excited for me to read it. I've heard the name bandied about a bunch but I don't know much of anything about it, so

Fountainhead: Rand almost lost me with the introduction, but the main book is less grating. Jury's still out, but it seems like it'll live or die by what I think of Roark, and I could see myself going either way.

Culdcept: Synch/Tenet started kinda close and then I blew it open.

WoT ToM: yay cannons

Tiger Mask W 20- The Gatekeeper of Hell: Red Death went down easier than expected! I also didn't realize we could have three winners, but hey, the gatekeeper fight was fun. And Odin gets a nice little redemption and epilogue! Cool ep.

MLP 7-22- Once Upon a Zeppelin: Wow, I liked this one. A couple good lessons packed into one this time! Also, Twilight's parents are pretty great, and I'd forgotten we'd already met them. Iron Will was a pleasant surprise too!

Transistor: Starting to figure out what I'm doing, so that's a plus. On to Highrise, after a random pizza break! Something's up with the sword, so that's no bueno probably. I've got a setup I like now, focusing around Bounce(Switch()), but I lost Breach for a round, so that'll be interesting. I do like how you have to keep shuffling stuff around to deal with Overloads and get all the background!

Yeah, the Overload mechanic as well as ongoing enemy upgrade makes you keep experimenting with functions in different variations.

P5: Made it to the first save room, and then died to really weak enemies because I left Joker with a Persona weak to them. >_>

LoliRock 2-25+26- Crowning Glory: ...Man, that's one way to end a season and/or (hopefully not) the series! I am significantly more interested in a potential third season than I expected, if for no other reason than Praxina taking a level up! Anyway, this was a good show. I wouldn't QUITE take it over Precure or MLP, but it's pretty close, and would probably beat out Jem. Would recommend if you're into any of the above. (Hi Silvergun) We won't replace it just yet, since MLP fits in that slot.

7.25&26 - Shadow Play
2 Days.

Who thought we would see Iron Will in the show again, but yeah, Twilight really got a bad deal on that "vacation", and she even missed out on the one activity she was interested in, and that was quite a burn for her.

Shining Armor's airsickness though, and his willingness to hide it, that didn't turn out so well, that's for sure!

Good to see Twilight's parents again, last time was in The Crystalling, the Season 6 opener, if memory serves me correctly.

Flurry Heart has really been toned down, and Cadance didn't really get much of a role in this episode, but it's nice to see her return again.

Iron Will really did pull a fast one, but, at least he's not stupid, he did cover his position with "specifics" in his contract, but, even that didn't help much, seen he was driven out of business on the maiden voyage.

Lastly, after Iron Will bailed, who piloted the airship at the end???

It's that time again, as tomorrow is the Season 7 Finale for MLP:FiM.

And then to follow, starting November 17, 2017, is a 45 part series for Equestria Girls, where there's a new episode each Friday running through this year and next year. From what's been said, they are not full 22 minute episodes like the FiM series. Hasbro hasn't quoted official lengths for these particular episodes, but it will be more clear when the first one from this new series drops. Youtube will be the primary form of release for this series.

Culdcept: Took out Memen and Mori with Tenet providing more help than expected. Now it's a three way! The writers really like these two, I suspect. Honestly, I kinda do too. Chaotic Evil lolis are pretty hit or miss with me, but these are entertaining.

MLP 7-23- Secrets and Pies: Two minutes in and I'm already sad! That's the worst when somebody does something really nice for you and you don't actually like it. The bright side: Sherlock Pinkie.

Transistor: Spine of the World BEATED.....*barely*. I did get some practice in with Load() so I am somewhat competent with that now. My bread and butter is still Bounce(Switch()) but that gets awkward against single strong foes, so I'm learning other strats as well.

Culdcept: Lost in the threeway with both sisters, so did plot things instead. That is...one thing that could happen beyond the gate! I'm also entertained by the presence of Zeneth since I'm pretty sure I remember him from like two games ago. I didn't get far enough in (or care enough about) previous Culdcept stories to really follow them well, but is this all just like a matryoshka doll of worlds created in previous games? That'd be pretty cool, and would go a long way towards explaining why Zeneth is here, and a god. Currently losing to Tenet/Zeneth because I blew all my items on unimportant fights and then lost all my good lands in like two turns.

LP MGS3 10-1b: I expected to like The End, and I do! I don't think I'd enjoy PLAYING this fight, but it's a neat concept and a neat character.

Transistor: Level 8! I took Purge(), Cache, and Responsibility. The guy from the Camerata seems like he's being set up as Not Actually The Bad Guy but that brings us back to square one on the "wtf is going on?" question.

A lot of the story is explained through the bios you see from using functions in different places. That being said, taking like 4 days off each time you play is pretty rough when there's a lot of verbal, non-repeatable dialogue integral to plot.

Culdcept: I'm gonna start souring on this game soon if I can't figure out how to do better, man. I don't make many obvious mistakes, I think my playstyle's fine, and I don't see any major issues with my deck, but I just keep getting completely shut down by some combination of rotten luck, one crucial mistake, or just...not having answers for my opponents. Now I'm even on a map where there's a magic trap so it can outright tell me "FATE MOCKS YOU" every lap >_> I tuned up my deck, and am doing significantly better so that's f-*Mori casts Exile on my Level 5 land, then lands on it the same turn to claim it*

Fountainhead: Starting to come around on things! I feel bad pre-emptively for Catherine.

MLP 7-24- Uncommon Bond: Is it bad that I now ship Sunburst with like every one of these? This is kinda sad though. Also, pony modesty still continues to not make much sense. Also, Maude and Trixie in one ep! Also, I wanna play Dragon Pit. This ep kinda reminds me of my one friend- he went one direction with his interests, and I went another with mine, and...we're still friends, but we don't really hang out much anymore.

Sunburst and Twilight got along a little too well, and poor Starlight, she effectively got the shaft the whole episode. Good to see Trixie and Maud again. And who would of thought the Mirror Pool would appear again, along with the fact that Maud lives right next to it as well.

Persona 5: Got really far! And then died. good thing I played for like an hour trying to find a damn safe room! As much as I love Persona 5, the prospect of replaying that ENTIRE stretch AGAIN might be game over. All I wanted was to play a bit and get to the next save room. Where are the save rooms ever. Why can't I save anywhere in 2017, in the first place.

Persona 5: There's always the option to lower the difficulty, as Easy/Normal/Hard are interchangeable at any time. By choosing Safety though, the difficulty is not changeable again until NG+.

MLP 7-25+26- Shadow Play: Man, another misguided paladin-type! It was cool to see the Pillars, although Starswirl was kinda a disappointment. Twilight had some pretty great faces! Good stuff all around, and I'd like to see more of the pillars.

Lucha Underground 1-1- Welcome to the Temple: We're gonna go more detailed with recaps than with Stardom- I assume there's more interest, and probably more storylines.

Blue Demon Jr. v. Chavo Guerrero: I always liked Matt Striker, and he's doing a good job here. Vampiro is also present. I wish they'd stop jumping between camera angles so often, but I'm otherwise impressed by the production values from a not-WWE fed. Solid technical match. (**1/2)

Hey, it's Konnan! Hey, Johnny Mundo is coming! I wonder who that could be??? They keep talking about seven tribes and champions. I wonder if that's gonna be relevant? Konnan hypes up Prince Puma a lot.

Son of Havoc v. Sexy Star: Isn't Son of Havoc a TNA jobber or something? Isn't Sexy Star the one who would later shoot on somebody? The subs are having trouble with her accent. I have a hard time taking her seriously with this name, but girl power and stuff nonetheless. The announcers put Sexy over hard while Son of Havoc beats her in like two minutes. Uh, okay? I wasn't terribly impressed but it wasn't bad either. Nice headscissors in there. (**)

I wonder if Chavo will ever have an angle again that's not about his family. I feel like I should know who Cueto is hinting at.

Johnny Mundo v. Prince Puma: I already miss the slow-mo. Was he really completely gone? For three years? Geeze. An occasional bit of sloppiness, but some impressive stuff from both dudes! (***1/2)

I feel like I should know the big black dude in charge of that beatdown! But anyway, this was a solid ep! Looks like this fed is gonna be about exactly what I signed up for, and I'm cool with that!

Transistor: Caught up on all the Function info I've completed, which is almost all of it! Onward into the archives. I keep accidentally going to a new screen before I've made sure I've explored everything. >_> I do believe this is the first time I've gotten a CG for going to the bathroom! ....At least, outside of games with H in 'em. <_<

Starswirl's negativity towards Twilight was brutal, but the fact that no pony saw that returning him and the other pillars back was a bad idea except Starlight, it would only make sense for the Pony of Shadows to return as well.

I'm surprised why the Mane 6 needed the physical Elements of Harmony from the Tree of Harmony when taking on the Pony of Shadows. I thought that would of been unnecessary, considering the fact that the Mane 6 have the Rainbow Power ability from Season 4, but it has been since unused in any episode beyond "Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?", but even then, that really didn't count for much considering that it was part of Luna's dream sequence.
