Tiger Mask W 11- The Tiger's Killer Move: wow the trainer had a tsundere moment lol. I love the training regimen of inventing a finisher by taking signatures from everybody. Isn't that what happened to that one tiger's den guy? Anyway I am pretty sure they are saying "high spot" but subbing it "high spurt."

MLP 7-16- Campfire Tales: Is it just me or does something seem off with Sweetie Belle's voice? Maybe it's just the S1 I've been showing Wifebolo >_> Anyway, EAST ASIA PONIES. I feel like cramming three short stories and a framing device into one episode is a tall order, but they did a pretty solid job!

WoT TGS: Sanderson, I was kidding about the needing to go MAXIMUM EDGE thing. At least we get Gareth Bryne, which I didn't know I needed. .....But I liked Sheriam ;_;

WoT TGS: I was hoping for more Min/Aviendha, and finally got it! Added bonus: Aviendha is done being punished! But never mind that, we've gone like two chapters without SPOOKY BUGZ!!

LoliRock 2-18: I always enjoy Mephisto and Praxina doing the Team Rocket-esque disguise shtick. I like that we got an origin for the lolistep like five episodes after they started singing about it >_>

Shadows in Flight: Beated. Kinda different! I liked it, but it grabbed me the least so far. I'll give Xenocide a shot, but it's gotta come in from another library.

G-Senjou: Road to Glory is great climactic comeback music! ...And BEATED. Man, I'm a sap- I got excited for the kiss when they've already gone all the way before. >_> Very good stuff! On the recommendation of b8 discord, my tentative plan is to do the Mizuha route and ollie out. Now would be a good time to object if you disagree! Anyway this was a very fun game an-Oh. ....well that epilogue was quite a ride, man.

It is at this point that I realize that I am Particularly Into VNs. Planetarian, Clannad, Umineko, F/SN, and Higurashi all have a place on my list of favorite games, and I think G-Senjou managed to solidify its spot there at the end, too. That's a very high success rate, especially considering that most of the VN's I wouldn't consider "favorite" wouldn't miss that mark by much either. I just feel like they can connect emotionally with me in a way that most other games (or media in general) can't, or don't try to. I have become That Weeb.

Yeah, somebody really needs to do an abbreviated version, at the very least making things like the search for the Bowl of Winds and Faile's rescue take place in a single book.

I think you're mostly out of the woods in terms of fluff in this book. I haven't read Towers of Midnight in a while, but A Memory of Light is pretty much just pure action.

Games that crash, always unpleasant. I had that happen in Dark Souls, where the game started to load to a different area, and then the PS3 just decided to hang for a long time, so I just had to quit out and reload my save from the last save point.

Worse than crashing though is save file corruption. I lost my Persona 3 save about 2/3 through, and my Disgaea DS save towards the end of Etna Mode. :(

#FE: Cleared the last of the side stories (Lon'qu was fun!), and what I hope to be the last of the Lucky Spot and stolen performa sidequests. I expected more than another Clap Track and some Chakra Pots for the latter, but oh well. >_> Got pretty deep into the Cosmic Egg thing. Re-fought the chapter 1 boss, so I assume more is coming....but I'm stuck on stupid platform labyrinths. I really wish it would just show me all the platforms and where they go so I don't have to simultaneously figure out what I'm doing AND memorize all the patterns AND dodge encounters. I also wish this game was popular enough to have text walkthroughs. Got pretty cranky about it.

WoT TGS: Cadsuane has a plan of some sort! :O I am intrigued. It amazes me how much more minor characters mean to me if just a bit of random detail is given to their personality or backstory. Trails: I didn't find anything about preventing crashes, but I did learn that this game has auto-saves! I just didn't know where to find 'em. Not too much loss this time, then. Fished a guy's key out of the river, and now I'm exploring to find a monster that took a thingy. #FE: The existence of Persona 5 fills you with DETERMINATION. Thanks to the power of Google Translate'D Japanese maps, I was able to press forward! Fought through Gangrel, who was tricky. Other than the annoying floaty block puzzle, this has been a pretty fun dungeon!

WoT TGS: Nynaeve has been kinda growing on me lately. She can still get annoying, but she's grown a lot and her personality is a refreshing change from...everybody else who gets PoVs.

G-Senjou: Mizuha has continued to put in some amusing tsundere work! Unfortunately, I just got to her saying yes to Kyosuke's terms. I assume this will eventually grow into a healthy relationship, and I'll be able to get behind this route again at that point, but for now I'm just sad about her lack of self-respect. :\

Paranatural: Setup, but not much else going on. Bit of Mina PoV though!

G-Senjou: Out of curiousity, how many Do You Wanna Build A Snowman parodies have there been of this? ....And BEATED to the extent I have been told I should do this. Bit sappy, but I enjoyed the route and the ending. Very good game! Slightly bummed that the Kanon and Tsubaki routes apparently suck, but I think I'd rather end on a high note?

WoT TGS: That is....AN option for Graendal. I guess. I'm really curious where the heck this is going, from a meta standpoint as much as anything. We're leaning so hard into the anti-hero thing that I'm really not sure how we are going to be able to get back behind Rand at this point.

STEAM BATTLE: Awesomenauts: As I recall, this needs internet to run, so I'll go out of order and play it while I'm at home. It also needs a mouse, apparently. Welp, that ain't gonna work! I don't have a setup for easily using an external mouse, and I am not often online and able to pay unbroken attention for extended periods anyway. Same reason I never did more than dabble in LoL!
THE VERDICT: Transistor, by default.

STEAM BATTLE: Recettear: I played this quite a ways back, but not for super long. I remember liking it, but not why I quit- I suspect I just got distracted like I used to do with everything until I started this topic and my weird rotation thing. Anyway! I forgot how cute this game was, somehow. Translation is...entertaining. Only got through one real day, but that's all the tutorial and intro stuff done for next time....if there is one!!
