That's an interesting question. I originally thought 'yes of course' but Boss does have a "Character Upgrade" that brings in D. Walker as well. So whether or not D. Dog/Walker are considered mercs seems rather a gray area. I'd probably lean no on wording, but I'd probably cede the point because D. Dog/etc have always been listed as a merc type in a battle write up.

Anything that isn't a merc should be listed as part of BB's writeup, NOT separate from it. D Dog is formatted like a merc and same for D. Walker. Even if it looks kinda sloppy, it's better to have this:

Disagree with this. Since they're different characters it makes more sense to list them separately for clarity. Like Eddie/Rush/Beat are all separate (on the wiki anyway). If you glom them all together with MM, or D-Dog/Walker with Big Boss, you just get an obnoxiously long paragraph.

Basically the way writeups are listed in topic should have nothing to do with their Ryu status.
