SBAllen should re-open LUE. Gamefaqs culture isn't like the culture it was 10 years ago. No one plans board invasions or instant 500 topics anymore. CEnco de Mayo was this month and no one brought up trying to get a 500 topic done within 5 minutes. Surely LUE won't be trolled into oblivion when if it reopens.

re-open LUE since no one cares anymore. The admin can't keep disrespecting the user base over how users behaved 10 years ago when the majority of the activate users were 13 year olds. Forums like Gamefaqs aren't popular with middle school/highschool students anymore. Everyone here is in university, employed in career job or married with kids. We're all mature enough to respect another board's culture and not plan silly things like raids.

Would LUE being re-opened cause it to lose all its specialness. Only reason people care about it because it is private. If it gets opened it is just gonna be like CE but dead.

LUE is just a social board. Unlocking it would mean that the admin has faith in the userbase to not ruin it. If this site is still running 25 years later and LUE is still not open then something is wrong.

Gfaqs is dead as a doornail, at the very least in terms of boards like this.
Outside of insanely popular games and very mainstream topic based social boards (like the movies) this site is insanely dead. And it deserves it for selling out to a parent company that is garbage --- "Dragon Age 2 was a train wreck the entire game, ME3 was like screaming rollercoaster that ran out of track and everyone died." -nIMr0D888 ...
