Yeah, and discipline, though i'd assume that's something that's missing from most schools anyway. I still think that 7-8 hours school days are unnecessary. Its fucking torture for kids and teens to sit still that much. More home work in digital form and shorter school days is good imo.

To do that you'd have to hope that the IPs won't screw over the students. And I don't trust them to do so.

I know that you are just talking about K-12, but from my own experience you can really see a difference between people who were educated in college level mathematics versus people who "learned it on their own".

There's more to learning than just digesting facts.

Agreed, mainly because the people I know who claimed to have "learned it on their own" never actually even made it through Algebra 2.
