I've put it off because I've heard it's boring as fuck. I finally decided to give it go, and it ain't too bad. It's no Jessica Jones or Daredevil, but it's holding my attention. I'd like to see how it ends. Currently just finished episode 4. I wish there was a little bit more Kung Fu shit, but all in all it's pretty decent so far.

One thing that all of the marvel netflix shows suffer from is that they drag on a bit too long after like the first half imo

I honestly think the "Iron fist sucks" is just groupthink at this point. people were told it sucked, so they were looking to hate it. self-fulfilling feedback loop.

I like it. it might be the worst of the netflix shows (though the end of Luke Cage is also a strong contender), but it's nowhere near bad. if Daredevil S1 is a 9/10, Iron Fist is still no worse than a 6 imo, and maybe even a 7.

Daredevil S1 is probably the only Marvel Netflix show that was great from start to finish.


I fucking loved Jessica Jones. That one had me hooked. My wife and I watched 2-3 episodes a night.

I agree a good deal here.

Cottonmouth was one of the few Marvel villains that was actually interesting. I know they had to set up Black Mariah since she is a main Luke Cage villain in the comics, but god damn what a fucking waste.

I watched it with my gf without knowing anything about it and we turned it into a drinking game because it was so laugh out loud bad that being drunk was the only way we enjoyed it. It's terrible on just about every level.

Yeah after they captured him in the van and he escaped the show lost major points. I was yelling to punch his throat or break his leg when he was totally under their control.

I couldn't suspend my disbelief after that escape because only fucking complete idiots would allow him to escape at that point. It was far too contrived.
