Obviously a hyperbolic title but let's talk about games you played that no one else talks about, ever.

I used to play, a lot, Hugo's House of Horrors. It was a DOS point and click adventure where you could type stuff, kind of like a Maniac Mansion ripoff. I don't remember how we had the game, let alone a disc containinh like hundreds of games including Hugo 2, Hugo 3, and Hugo 3D. The games were awesone at the time. Hugo 2 was some weird whodunit game while Hugo 3 took place in a jungle. Hugo 3D was a pretty cool Doom knockoff. I have super fond memories of theae games.

POD: Planet of Death. Very basic racing game that essentially existed as a tech demo for when the MMX instruction set was new with Pentium processors, and a shareware version of the game was bundled with most Gateway and Dell PCs sold around 1997.

I thought the shareware version was better than the full version of the game because it lacked rubberbanding AI and the tracks were a bit tighter and tougher to learn.

Orb-3D

It was an NES game that sorta had a pong mechanic as a base, but rather than just paddling back and forth, you had an objective every level that was often a puzzle of sorts. There was also a fuel gauge and a gas station in space.

I never did beat it, but I was able to make it a fair ways into it back in the day.

I really like Shadow Madness!

I remember it had some weird early level cap though. I feel like I hit it without even really trying with like 40% of the game left to play. It was also directly from the FFVIII era of "nothing looks right and my eyes are bleeding" visuals.

Let's go for a board game.

Yali - You play on a board that's balanced on a fulcrum. You move metal balls from pocket to pocket, and you can move as long as the board is weighted toward you. If the board swings back to your opponent, it becomes their turn to move the balls. The object is to get all eight of your balls to your opponent's end of the board.

Moonbugs (early 80s DOS game)

For years I would search the internet and wikipedia and gameFAQs and literally not find any evidence that the game ever existed. Finally maybe 5 years ago a youtube video (with a spanish video description) showed up so I could prove I'm not crazy:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztCp9uthUKA

First game I ever played (at like 3-4 years old I think?) Still holds lots of nostalgia for me.

Also, while I'm sure this is more common, Adventure Island on the Gameboy (1992) I felt was really high quality for a gameboy game at the time.

And even higher on the quality scale (but also better known), there is perhaps the best game on the SNES, Wario's Woods, but I've definitely met other people who've played that, and we bonded about how fucking amazing that game is/was, she busted out her SNES, and we played till 4am.

It was a simple fighting game that you had to spend a few hours of tutorial to understand half of what the game wanted you to know.

Pretty neat ost though.

Funball

A strange board-ish game where you play as one of two colored balls, with the goal of making it across the board to your opponent's base.

Larger balls or balls of the same size could merge with smaller balls, including the enemy's type. But if a smaller ball intentionally jumped into a larger ball, it could make it pop, sometimes surviving with a little bit of itself left.

The odd thing is, I remember it having music, but there's no actual music. My memories are just mixing things up.

There's also some games I remember from my very early childhood that I don't know of now, including one game whose only detail I remember being rainbow neon lines and structuring them somehow? or it might've been a screensaver, I don't remember and I'm scared I never will. There was also an ASCII-style Hobbit game that played a bit like Kingdom of Kroz but more scene-based. Unfortunately I think that game might've been an indie game and all records of it might be lost forever.

Another one I remember was some astronomy/constellation game or something. I don't remember much about it.

The thing is, whenever I think about it, this music plays in my head.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTDcpK7rgZc

And I want to say it had music similar to this, but at the same time, it could be just my memories merging together, like with Funball having music that it didn't really have.
