however I disagree with your "pray for the victims". I wish the best for them and truly hope the loss of life is at the absolute minimum (but even 1 is too many), however praying is what started this shit in the first place, time to drop that pointless thing.

There is far, FAR too much detail to explain to someone like you who already decided to base his judgement on religion on ignorance, so I'm not going to.

What I will propose is an alternate idea to the idea of religion. Something that fill were have known for years and that atheist have a hard time understanding.

The Bible itself is not to be followed. The message in the scriptures are.

Nobody literally believes that Jesus fed the entire congregation of over 500 with two fishes and five loaves of bread. Nobody literally believes that Lot's wife turned into a piller of literal salt when she looked back at her burning home while escaping. And no actual Christian believes in stoning adulterers because in the very next scripture, Jesus absolves her of her sin and literally says (paraphrased of course) "Nobody has any right to judge this woman because they're sinners themselves."

It's not the religion that should be banned, it's the people that want to twist and contort the message to justify these attacks. Rapists have nothing to do with God either. To say that we should ban religion is no better than saying we should ban guns or videogames every time a violent attack happens here.

Please for you and every anti-religious twit here trying to push a misguided agenda instead of mourning another attack: kindly but firmly, piss off.
