People are really, really stupid when it comes to children. Like you must have children no matter what. Even if your living situation isn't optimal. Even if you don't have the money. Even if it means you could die in childbirth. And if you opt to never have children? Why, you're a selfish monster then!

I guess if going to college isn't in your planned future, and you're just working a job and figure you're already making as much money as you'll ever make, the timing on when to have kids becomes irrelevant.

Yeah, I don't get it. We have our first child on the way. Took a couple years of trying due to various reasons, but having it any sooner would've been super difficult financially. Much as I don't want to be the old gray haired dad at graduation, I'm glad I can properly provide for my child, barring something catastrophic.

What does that have to do with your topic, unless I misunderstood something? It's relevant to other people around you, then it pervades into others. it's a cultural thing that MUST BE DONE in their eyes. Even though it actually isn't, they just think it is.

Taxes?

And welfare benefits. My sister gets 10k a year on her kids from taxes (Obama increased it to $2500 per kid), around $800 a month on food stamps and gets about $700 a month in child support. She hasn't kept a job for longer than a month since having kids over a decade ago and even entertained the thought of having her tubes untied to have another since her oldest is about to turn 18. She probably found out you can't untie the tubes since she hasn't had another. She also goes through boyfriends like she does shoes and bleeds the cucks dry. She's truly a waste of humanity, but sadly this is what ghetto rats do.

What I was trying to say is that a lot of people who do put off having children do so in order to have their education/career sorted out first, and that because the working-class doesn't concern themselves with that stuff they are lacking that barrier to having kids earlier. I guess it's separate from what you're saying about cultural expectation but I don't see why they couldn't both be factors.

The biological instinct to breed can also disguise itself as chosen objectives.

As long as a certain percentage of the human population continues to procreate, there's no need for the rest to really. Yet the rest can still feel compelled by the ringing of a "biological clock" too. And that clock can instill both a need to meet an imperative (produce offspring before infertility) and cause paranoia/depression if they don't.

Emotions have a chemical component after all. If you don't acknowledge the screaming demands of your genes to reproduce, they can hotwire your brain chemistry to coax you into it in other ways.
