It's getting to the point where I know people who absolutely love the characters, who don't play the game because they're put off by competitive shooters.

They have the technical expertise to create some amazing cinematics, but I'm guessing they've decided it's not quite worth it to expand into a full-time animation production company.

Many people want some kind of campaign. Dragons and The Last Bastion have gotten attention outside of gaming. This is how I feel about Team Fortress 2. I was hoping that steam/adult swim partnership would've lead to a full show but alas.
