If you wake up sick just send an email saying that you can't make it in and they will say "sure thing feel better!" This co-worker though just never takes off. I'm not even exaggerating. Before I quit retail, I had a bad cough and a 100.something degree cold with chills and I called in, and my manager got pissy at me for it. "I bet you called in a lot, Leana." Nah.
