I'm not against getting one, but I haven't yet found anything important enough to want it permanently marked on my body.

I'm not opposed to the idea of getting a tattoo, but 1) they're expensive, 2) I'm trying to lose weight so my skin is going to tighten or bag up, and 3) I can't think of anything right now that I'd be willing to have permanently on my body

It's like a map of my history on my body. Sure, the majority are "just video game tattoos" to most people but each one has a different meaning to me. Some represent something big that happened in my life, others represent relationships I have had, and some are just representations of games that have had a very large impact on my life for one reason or another.

Next I will be getting a Pascal tattoo from Nier Automata, not just because I loved the game, but also because while playing this game my sister and I decided it was finally time to get my mom into rehab, so when I look at this tattoo I won't just remember how great this game is, I will also remember the exact moment we finally had the courage to get our mom the help she needed. I know, a little deep for a GameFAQs.

I'm the same age and I don't feel it's too late. Guess it depends how old you feel and the culture in your town. I grew up in a small country town where only dirtbag people had tattoos. Since I've moved to Richmond, nearly everyone has a tattoo and I had to reevaluate my view on them.

My wife has two she got as a teenager but isn't going to get anymore. My wife is cool with me getting one as long as it isn't something stupid she'll be stuck staring at for the rest of her life.

yea i live in a pretty liberal area where tattoos are commonplace so it's nbd. i guess i just never have the guts to pull the trigger on getting inked, even though i have an idea for like two or three tattoos that i'd want. i think it's also hard for me to figure out where i'd even want the tattoo because id like to have it visible so i can see it but not be in a place where it would cause a problem in the workplace or when im dressing formally or w/e

Do you honestly think you're going to enjoy a Pokemon tattoo when you're 50? Even if you say yes, I don't think I'm going to believe you.

from what i have heard from the people i know with tattoos, they say that you kind of just get used to/forget about the tattoos after a while and they just become a part of your body like a birthmark or scar or whatever.

When I'm 50 I'm gonna hopefully have other things to worry about and past that old people generally don't care as much about how they look.

To answer your question though yes. I didn't get any of these lightly wanted most of these tattoos since I was 13. Only one I've grown sick of is the writing on my chest since it doesn't match my other shit. Not to mention it was tossed out in some dude kitchen -_-

Same. I have a couple tattoo ideas but idk if any design will make me happy enough to pull the trigger. Also even if I find a design I want, how do I know the artist won't screw it up? There's just a lot of variables.

I am 31, I have had some of my tattoos for 14 years.. what is going to change in the next 19 years?

If I am a 50-year-old woman whose only concern is she has tattoos then I think I will have done pretty well for myself!

Besides, as I said before, each tattoo is a part of my history so no, I do not think I will ever hate them.

Well, yeah, I understand that there's probably some sort of meaning for you in there, but why do you feel the need to have those things permanently engraved on your body as opposed to, say, hanging up posters on your wall or something? I don't get that. Sure, there are plenty of things that hold great meaning for me too, but no way in hell am I going to get any of that tattooed on my body.

I would think it'd depend on how important the pop culture item is to the person.

I wouldn't be against getting a Snaggletooth (Motorhead logo) tattoo eventually because the band has had a serious, lasting impact on my life and my music. However, if I had gotten, say, an Iron Maiden or AC/DC tattoo during the time where I was really into them, I'd likely be regretting it now because they were more of a passing interest.

I can't say that I'd consider any video game influential enough to me that I'd want a tattoo of it. Ocarina of Time has been my favorite game for almost 20 years, but I'd still be embarrassed to have a Zelda-related tattoo.

The only reason I would say the shield is because it is from the show Vikings.
