“The president is new at this,” Ryan said. “He’s new to government. And so he probably wasn’t steeped into the long going protocols that established the relationships between DOJ, FBI, and White Houses.”
When a reporter questioned why that’s an “acceptable excuse,” given that Trump has a staff and counsel that should have been informed, Ryan reiterated that Trump did not know what he was doing.
“He’s new at government,” Ryan said. “Therefore I think he is learning as he goes.”

Oh ok that makes it alright then. smh is that really his defense of this?

To be fair, his voters did elect him on the idea that he wasn't a politician. >_>

Which is hilarious if you think about it. It's like running a corporation, having a few piss poor accountants in a row, and then hiring a hotdog vendor of the streets because he's not an accountant like the rest of them. If anything, people should want someone with way more political experience.

to be fair, Trump has always been a businessman, which is a field where it is okay to take people out to fancy dinners and demand personal loyalty, and then fire them if they don't play along.

Ryan Paul didn't want Trump as President, you realize?

Pretty much everyone tried to stop him from winning the primary. You can't pin this shit on Ryan Paul.

Maybe these politicians shouldn't have been so damn corrupt and worked together more often so that the people didn't feel like nothing was being done.

As asked during his PC its a terrible defense. He has people around him who know the law and how this works. Even if he goes rogue after they explain it to him it's still inexcusable.

His reasoning isn't stupid though. It's true. A seasoned politician would know how to better navigate politics in the White House. But Trump comes from a different sector, where etiquette is different. Paul Ryan is explaining that Trump doesn't understand that etiquette because he has no experience.

It's not a defense. It's just a factual explanation of what is literally occurring.

Whatever it was both the GOP and DNC refused to listen to voters. Nobody wanted Hillary. Nobody wanted the same ol' hardcore republican like Ted Cruz.

People wanted something different and that's on both sides of the spectrum. The left wanted Sanders and Hillary and the DNC made it impossible for him to win.

Like seriously, why can't the republicans call Trump out in his idiocy and tell him to shut up, do as he's told or he's gone. Who gives a fuck if his supporters get upset, it isn't like they would suddenly vote for the democrats.

Again, people were tired of the same ol' same ol' Washington. So, when a guy runs and one of his platforms is "draining the swamp" that becomes pretty appealing.

Like him or not, he's the first guy who you can tell how mad or happy he is at any given moment. There's really no second guessing the guy as he wears his emotions on his sleeve.

And people liked that about him. That he was 'normal'. That he got upset like a normal human would. To have the president be emotional is really a breath of fresh air. Instead of the ol' sterile president that is afraid to offend everyone - and you never knew what he was thinking. It was just a spectacle for the cameras. this guy didn't give a fuck. It was a breath of fresh air.

When it comes to the mere mention of Trumps name people on both sides can't take a statement at face value and not start shit posting. It's crazy how one man has come to control some peoples every waking thought.
