Zeratul, Claire Redfield and Joseph Turok have challenged Mega Man, Zack Fair ad Geese Howard to a fight! Location of the fight: Outside of Midgar - The jagged area where Zack made his last stand. It has two main levels, separated by a series of rocky 'steps' allowing access between the two. Attackers will start on the ground, while defenders will start on the highest level.. Which side will win?


Guidelines

- The fight will occur in real-time (like an FMV sequence). Gameplay mechanics are less important than how the characters would function in a real-time environment.
- The members of each team are ideal teammates capable of a pre-selected plan of battle.
- "Broken" refers to a lot of things, including insta-death, auto-effects, a variety of status effects (e.g., Imp, Silence, Stop, *not* Poison), and revival. Unless stated otherwise, nobody has them, though do use your own discretion.
- There may be SPOILERS from all of the games the characters are from.

Rules for Voting

-Bold your votes (using bold HTML tags).
-You do not need to require justification for your vote, though the admins reserve the right to disqualify votes in the advent of obvious alt voting and other similar scenarios.
-Leaders cannot vote for their own teams (and players from the same pool may not vote as well), but they are free to argue their case.

Zeratul is as he appears in the Starcraft series, and Heroes of the Storm, with all of his skills other than Void Prison. During combat, he will be permanently invisible, detectable only by the shimmer of light refracting against his cloak.

Claire Redfield is as seen in Resident Evil Revelations 2, equipped with a survival knife, MP-AB50, Shotgun M147S and one of each kind of craftable grenade.

Joseph Turok is as he appears in Turok, equipped with a Knife, Compound Bow (with Tek arrows), SMG, Sniper Rifle and some grenades.

Mega Man is as seen in Mega Man Series. He has access to his Mega Buster, his Magnet Beam, all of his weapons from the mainline Mega Man series (1-10) aside from the Time Stopper, Flash Stopper, Gravity Hold, Centaur Flash and Astro Crush and his moveset from Marvel vs Capcom 2, but may only use his hypers if he has enough meter and the necessary robots are present. He also has a variety of weapons based on his defeated foes, allowing him to use Soul Steal, as seen in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Once per match if he dies, he will immediately reanimate to full health at his starting location.

Eddie is as he appears in the mainline Mega Man series. He is carrying one E-Tank, and will attempt to remain hidden until Mega Man is low on health, at which point he will attempt to give him the E-Tank.

Rush is as he appears in the mainline Mega Man series. He cannot attack unless Mega Man is piloting him in Marine mode, but may freely switch between his Coil, Jet, and Marine capabilities.

Beat is as he appears in the mainline Mega Man series. He can carry Mega Man for short distances and use his melee attacks.

Zack Fair is as seen in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII equipped with his Buster Sword and Divine Slayer. He has all buffing Magic materia, all Command Materia, and the Dash Independent Materia. His Digital Mind Wave limits will not be randomized and can be used when he'd get a limit break. He cannot use Air Strike, Summons, chocobo limits, or attacks that cause status effects/death.

Geese Howard is as he appears in the Fatal Fury and King of Fighters series, with all of his moves available.

Zeratul's scary, but my team has a lot more going for it. Ye olde bulletpoint list:

MM
-Two lives is really great, and he essentially gets a third unless something happens to Eddie.
-Has multiple homing options (Dive Missile, Homing Sniper, Magnet Missile) even if he can't see Zeratul, and he'll probably know to use them if he gets ganked once by an invisible opponent. Reanimating at the starting point also means he probably can't just be spawnkilled, either.
-Rush gives him great mobility, possibly even in the air. I am not sure the other team has much of an answer to aerial bombardment from atop the Rush Jet, and I think Mercs Magic lets him shoot and Rush at the same time.

Zack
-If you're reading this, my research time got cut short, but he's got buffs on top of being just a tough cookie.
-Pre-selected limit breaks also seem pretty great.
-I hear he is "tanky as f" and fights armies!
-Which means he's also used to fighting gunners.

Geese
-He's fast and he's strong. Look at him knock Terry around like a ragdoll!

Zeratul
-Invisibility is good, but it's not perfect, and my team should be smart enough to catch on relatively quickly. He needs to solo, and he's not THAT good with MM having 2+ lives and Zack being cool.

Worst Turok and Claire
-I don't think they can take MM in a shootout, or Zack if he gets anywhere close. They're not complete fodder, but I'd rather have Zack and Geese for sure.

Terrain
-High ground helps, and I assume I start on it even though I can't find the draft version.
-Not much cover against MM, and plenty of light on Zeratul's cloak.

The E-tank is not a given here. Zeratul is crafty enough to find Eddie and gank his ass before that comes into play.

Yeah I think Mega Man has enough tricks in his toolkit to fight the invisible guy, and he'll figure it out eventually with 3 tries.

I think it's worth mentioning that if you take Zeratul's warp blades to one-shot Mega Man (I certainly do if he gets the chance), it's really two lives, not three. He has to still be alive for the E-Tank to do anything.

My thought that Beat of all people is really key here.

She does all she can to save mega from a second invisa-gank and once Mega can start laying into Zeratul with some big assists from Zack and such.

This is correct
An e tank is gonna recharge and incapacitated robot. Not a split in two pieces robot.

Right i think this battle is literally all about the invisagank that they know is coming goes.

And if Mega Man doesnt have "Ready to literally die for him" Beat around i dont think he really has an answer. But Beat is here and that's gonna give mega man the time to use Black Hole Bombs and Air man tornadoes anf the like to really CC Zeratul.

If i had like any respect for his help I might change my mind but theyre gunner trash vs Zack Fair

Team MegaMan.

Zack could crush Claire/Turok alone pretty easy, and might even be a big fight for Zeratul. But multi-lives MegaMan is just a crazy amount of stuff to deal with.
