Persona 5 was the thing that held my year together. I'm waiting on stuff from Gamefly, so I've come up with some franchises that have stood the test of time for me. Most, if not all, are available for digital download, on portables no less. If a series has a ton of options, I've narrowed them down to what makes sense. Trying to do a full FF run while dealing with Grad School would be daunting. But 1-2 games in an RPG series of choice may not be so much. The platformers would probably be doable all at once.

I'm throwing this vote out there. If a series you like isn't on here (Phantasy Star, Punch-Out, Castevania, Chrono, etc) isn't here, post it in a comment. It may win. Also feel free to post a game from said franchise. If a game (let's just say FFIV) gets tons of comments, I'll go straight for that one. I want to get a playthrough topic going by the end of the night.

Since I have D&D dice at home, I'll use one of those to pick the starting game from the winning franchise. FF is winning, but a couple still have a chance.
