I took care of the Waterfall, so it is all Fiend dungeons from here on out. I may even grab the Healing Helm early from the Mirage Tower. At least I know I am less inclined to run away. The biggest thing is finishing up grabbing equipment.

Edit: Or I can't go in yet. Stupid other Fiends.

I'm taking care of some old spells I couldn't get because I was DIRT POOR! Warp alone will do wonders.

Well, that hour was pretty productive. I raided the Mirage Tower, leading me to the 2xLightning/Healing Item macro. It is certainly saving money for stuff. I only have Gaia and Lufein stuff to take care of now. Still haven't bothered with the Fiends. I may just deal with Mt. Gulug tomorrow.

Marilith and Kraken are KNOCKED DOWN! Also, MZero got access to enough equipment to outstrip FFD. He has taken over party lead position. Crazy how he got good so suddenly.

Beating the game tonight is a little presumptuous, but I might get past Tiamat at least.

But it took forever. Stupid Mindflayers kept insta-killing MZero, leading to running out of Life spells. I had to fight Tiamat with every spell, to little damage, and basically do Ice2item/2xHealing Helms for about 100 more turns just to win. **** that fight so hard. It jumped that line of "Hey this could be challenging," to "Just end this one way or another so I can leave."

Level 29; done for today. I really hope this party can beat Chaos at like 31-32. More grinding would just suck during the weekdays.

I'm running out of Life spells, but FFD is doing crazy damage with Masamune. I hope that stays true.

Sure did...but it wasn't easy.

Level 34, but Chaos kept throwing out instant death spells. For whatever reason, MZero kept dying that way. The Hero of the fight was FFD, with Hasted Masamune, throwing out decent attacks every turn. I ran out of Cure spells, cause Chaos pulled a Cure4 cheese move.

But goddamn its done. I appreciate this game for what it is, but I doubt I will ever play a party like this. Not having a Warrior or Black Belt really sucked. Undead were easy, and things got manageable after healing items...but dude. I wish I'd started with something else. Anyway, thanks to FFD, MZero, and Jon for participating, those who stuck around (sorry to the guy who didn't get picked to the party).
