Xbox Scorpio.

Why is it that console manufacturers never want to use their project names? Nintendo was the only one that did it with the DS (which stands for Developer System rather than Dual Screen), with the final name as Nitro, and the 3DS was sort of forced its way in there.

We could have had the Nintendo Ultra 64 eventually giving way to the Nintendo Dolphin, Revolution, Project Cafe, and NX.

Meanwhile, Sony would be dominating Microsoft's Xbox Durango with the PlayStation Orbis.

On a slightly similar note, I am ashamed of Sony for not calling the PlayStation 2 the "Playstation Squared", since it was against the Xbox and GameCube.

And if Nintendo would have stuck with the Revolution, and had Microsoft stick with the Xbox 360, then Sony would have needed a circle name for the PlayStation 3.

In that bizarre timeline, it would be triangles next.

It's odd seeing a game having "Only on Xbox" printed next to the console logo, only to play it again years later on a PlayStation console

It won't be called Scorpio. Remember when Kinect was called Project Natal?

Again I say, in that case, if at all possible, Release PC games on Console as well, if you truly want to be rid of exclusives altogether, even smaller indie games.
