I never got that in Harry Potter. As a kid, I'd try and make some connection to something dirty but nothing made sense. Why is that a laughable name?

Oh okay. Did it make you laugh at the time? I specifically remember the theatre being quiet at that moment.

I know about draco having to do with dragons but I still just don't see the humor. Also, his parents gave him the name so it's not like he chose to have an edgy name.

To be fair, I thought Malfoy was an equally stupid name. Poor kid got stuck with both.

You think so? I named a character of mine like this, but at the time, I found a different meaning for this name... Unfortunately I don´t remember it.

I like it anyways, related to the HP character or not. Dragons are symbols of strength and this is cool.
