That was an extreme reaction to the thief and definitely not ok.

If the tattoo artist would have tattooed that in small words on his arm or something, that would have been SLIGHTLY more reasonable. But in massive words on his head was just too much.


They should have just subdued him (like they did) and called the cops.

The kid was grabbed and forced to get an enormous tattoo, a process which hurts like a bitch and leaves him scarred. To the dumbasses saying laser removal, maybe you should read up about the prcedure and results not to mention that's pretty fucking expensive and it seems highly unlikely the family could afford that.
