Painwheel gets rejected by her family in her ending. She gets saved in Filia's, but she's eventually going to have to kill filia once her transformation into the Skullgirl finishes, so she's just going to end up losing her only friend. She loses all hope of being normal again in Valentine's ending because everyone else is dead and all she has left is to eventually kill Valentine-Skullgirl.

Ms.Fortune gets killed in Cerebella's timeline, gets a fate worth than death in Eliza's timeline, and ends up forced to face the fact that she's responsible for half of her friends getting killed because of her cleptomania and the other half being threatened by the mafia forever in her own ending.

Cerebella succeeds in her own timeline, but ends up miserable because she knows she's getting used and deeply regrets what she's done. She gets killed by Eliza. Gets offscreened in Peacock's ending. And is generally seen as the worst girl for killing Ms. Fortune that one time.

Filia never gets her memory back no matter what. And when she tries to be a hero, she 1) loses Squigly in her own damn timeline because she was dumb enough to think she could take Double and the Skullgirl by herself and 2) gets killed by Eliza because she was dumb enough to follow a half-dead zombie into a suicide mission. And she still ends up carrying the weight of what she did to Painwheel in the other stories. Forever.

And Big Band presumably loses everyone He loves (minus peacock, I guess) in Beowulf's story because the furry decided that it would be a good idea to pick fights with people in a casino.

I hope my girls (and jazz android) can all live happy lives in the sequel.
