Square Enix was a massive disappointment. Bethesda was a crushing letdown. Nothing that came after could rally my spirits. The only game I'm now looking forward to is Ori and the Will of the Wisps and that's not even a day 1 buy for me, I'll wait til it goes on Steam sale.

This year was a buffet of failure with a whole side dessert table of wasted potential - and I'm not biting.

I saw lots of things I'm looking forward to. Nothing mind blowing, but I don't expect miracles every day. I was satisfied, but I can see how if there was a particular game you were hoping would get announced how it might've been a disappointment.

That Mario + Rabbids game looks awesome.

So does SM Odyssey.

And I'm pretty excited for Metroid Prime 4, although they didn't show us anything.
