Yes but this isn't regular radiation as I said if we take Red Phazon as "advertised" it can rip a planet into two different dimensions and Raiden's been butchered by far less.

Sora's like one of the first guys here who would die to the phazon. Plus he can only heal once before he has to wait about a minute for his MP bar to refill. And if he can survive the phazon, so can most of my team, meaning that he'll be too busy fighting off someone from my team to heal Dante.

They don't know my team is coming, or even that they can get through the platforming to get there. They're gonna want to move out at some point, and that's when the phazon gets them.

There isn't even any Phazon to kill Sora in the Prime chamber, unless he like spawns directly in a pit underground in the far corner in which there is Phazon on the ground to kill him. That is a mighty stretch.

Meanwhile your team has to go from the teleporter chamber all the way through the obnoxious platforming over Phazon (that requires at least Samus double jumping to even reach), through that chamber right before the boss room with no floor and only Phazon, and *then* this fight can begin in earnest. Frankly they're dead before they even get going, except Kefka and Raiden. Them I buy being able to manage it, but for the most part the rest of your team is either too squishy or not agile enough.

There's a perfectly good ruined Space Pirate facility where her first boss fight takes place in Prime 2 that can be used nicely!

Also there's ample opportunity to see your side coming, since y'know...the only door into my team's boss room leads directly into a horizontal chamber with no floor and only Phazon. There is only one way in to my team and it's ridiculous to even traverse without dying.

But really, fact is my team begins in a well-fortified boss room surrounded by Death Goop, specifically a large chamber of it blocking off the only means of access. They're be pretty dang dumb to do anything other than wait for your team to go through the only means of doing anything and kill them when they try. Simple enough.

Except that won't happen, because your team will eventually leave the boss room. In which case they're the ones that have to avoid the goop while my team shoots at them. Your argument is based on your team never leaving the starting point, which just isn't in character for several members of your team.

IIRC phazon rapidly converts dead flesh to phazon-- it feels like camping wouldn't be great as that room would probably become more phazon filled than it should.

Actually if anything, the fact you've set Raiden into LET ER RIP crazypants mode is probably all the more reason he's just going to take off at the outset, plow right through the Phazon and make it through to my team in a positively horrid state to fight. Ripper Mode *kinda* kills his sense of self-preservation.

Yeah camping makes no sense for either team quite frankly. Like it's not like either team knows the properties of phazon (Dark Samus does but can she even talk) , or the characteristics of the enemy team, intimately. It would make a lot more sense for both teams to go out and fight asap than camp in an area that's slowly (or rapidly) killing them

Also if Dark Samus is made of Phazon does she kill her team passively by standing near them or what.

There isn't even a room full of it. My team is beginning in a big, multi-storied chamber in which the only Phazon is on the far bottom recesses of it. The area up top (where the other team would have to be entering from, it's the only way in) doesn't even have any.

She can't heal off of it or anything. Even then, it requires Dark Samus to solo Ripper Mode Raiden, Kefka and possibly Revan. She's just not good enough to do that.

Except Raiden has shown immunity to radiation in MGS4. He's not going to be affected much, if at all. And Ripper Mode Raiden is better than Dark Samus, so he can 1v1 this if it comes down to that.

This seems fair. I feel it favors Samus/Kuja, though, since it's two fliers vs. one and a Raiden who is basically in the goop at all times. You gotta figure it's gonna do something to him eventually.

I'm thinking Ripper Mode Raiden is honestly going to try and plow straight through the Phazon to get where he's going (if you didn't want him to be Travis then don't put him into Travis Mode), at which point he's taking far worse damage than radiation poisoning.
