so all you do is sit on a computer and do simple stuff without interacting with people? sounds like a dream job for me. i kinda know stuff about computers and im pretty hardworking, but im kinda awkward. so what exactly do you do in data entry and what companies offer this job? also how much do they usually make?

If you have a pulse and at least 2 or more fingers you can do data entry.

Depends on what kind of company. In college I worked at a political firm that did surveys so my job was to the individual results and convert them to statistics and print out reports.

There is no job like that. You need to improve your skills if you want to have more job security.

That's pretty much what I do at an accounting firm. If you can type, you can do data entry. The pay is only $11 an hour which is the only downside.
