That's what happens when you rely on taxing everything to pay for bloated city/state budgets. If less people smoke, you have to tax it more to make the same amount of revenue.

And if electric vehicles replace gas cars more, you'll have to find some other way to increase taxes because there's less gas being purchased. The entire system is a fucking bloated scam, and it stifles progress.
