It's one of the easiest to get into, but there is a reason the same 5-7 people have been winning all the tournaments for 10 years. The FGC really doesn't like games that are easy to get into, even if the ceiling is super high. They just ride capcom's nuts all day. That's why you have to turn off anything with a random element in order to make it competitive.
