I walked to the store with my dad when I was about 9 and a tornado that hadn't been nearby before gunned it over to our town as it was dying out. I remember the air pressure being weird and every speck of dirt on the ground hovering like somebody just went super saiyan. My dad threw me over his shoulder and ran home full speed (thank god he is fit). There was siding damage and other minor things but the bulk of its fury was spent elsewhere.

Also, if the "big one" on the west coast hits, that's where I am now... and there's an active volcano I can see from my house that is overdue.

4th grade a tornado touched down right outside my school. My dumb ass was right up against the window and watched that shit blow through the the street and then actually make the turn to go down another.

Let up soon after that and I don't think it caused any actual damage.

Yes. Major flooding twice - both times it didn't affect my house, but it nearly washed out the only bridge between us and civilization (also we were without power for almost a week afterwards).
