There's no reason Agnes can't unacceptable triggers that I can determine.

As for why monokuma would still work it's probably because the effects are kinda independent, with the ability denying one targeting the ability and the KO targeting the merc who used it.

I would lean towards saying it's dependent. It's kind of like an ability that KOs and injures -- if you intercept the KO, the injury doesn't stick on the original guy.

But Monokuma is not super clear so I could see it either way.

Well the KO was successful and abilities when "on the stack" in this game do not implicitly tie back to the merc.

But yeah I could go either way too. I could also go with scrubbing monokuma from the game but hey I have a week 41 merc on my team now so I can't be too upset I guess. (although mine is actually balanced and makes sense)

In any case Unacceptable should 100% work. Triggers are considered "used" and Agnes explicitly says she can hit PS abilities so there's no real exit there for Kuma.

Basically I figure that if Terra takes the effect of the KO, she takes the effect of "her abilities cannot be used against Monokuma again" as well.

Just asking for clarity I suppose. It does effect whether or not I use Unacceptable on the trigger though so a formal ruling is probably prudent to request.

Terra's ability isn't the one that KO'd Damus and Monokuma is written where the ability ban seems to target the ability not a Merc.

"Additionally, when successful, the ability used to KO will not work against Monokuma's team for the rest of the game."

Again, Agnes explicitly says she undoes the Triggers that went off in reaction to the undone ability

Sometimes when a merc is actually written more clearly less rulings are needed. Crazy!

That was the intent yes. It will say 'on the top floor of the highest tower' in the actual match writeup, I was just rushed and miswrote.
