transracial is a thing, but it isn't what Rachel Dolezal and this woman think it is

if, for instance, a chinese baby gets adopted by white parents, that baby is transracial

they grow up with white parents, probably in a mostly white neighbourhood, socialized as though they're white, but they're not white

it's not the same thing as being transgender, and using it the way these women do serves, among other things, to delegitimize transgender issues
