Kratos, Sora, Akuma and The Prince of Persia have challenged Bass.Exe, Raziel, Lucina the Hellspawn and Ryu Hayabusa to a fight! Location of the fight:
The Undernet - The Undernet is as it appears in Megaman Battle Network 2, with all the regular inhabitants cleared out and everything unlocked. It is a long series of floating walkways and platforms. Access to any other area is not allowed. Attackers will start at the entrance to Area 1, with defenders starting in the depths of Area 7.. Which side will win?


Guidelines

- The fight will occur in real-time (like an FMV sequence). Gameplay mechanics are less important than how the characters would function in a real-time environment.
- The members of each team are ideal teammates capable of a pre-selected plan of battle.
- "Broken" refers to a lot of things, including insta-death, auto-effects, a variety of status effects (e.g., Imp, Silence, Stop, *not* Poison), and revival. Unless stated otherwise, nobody has them, though do use your own discretion.
- There may be SPOILERS from all of the games the characters are from.


Rules for Voting

- Bold your votes (using bold HTML tags).
- You do not need to require justification for your vote, though the admins reserve the right to disqualify votes in the advent of obvious alt voting and other similar scenarios.
- Leaders cannot vote for their own teams (and players from the same pool may not vote as well), but they are free to argue their case.

Akuma is as he appears in the Street Fighter and Vs. series, with all of his moves, although he must charge supers before he can use them. CATS has issued an order to Akuma, which he will consider to have been given from his highest ranking superior. Everyone on his team will follow Akuma's lead, regardless of personality or berserker traits. The order is as follows: "The blue bone with stabbing glow threatens great revival unilaterally. First to make business, and execute plentifully before return. Gather opposition, then Vergil to Devil Bang. The girl is slow; The rest must fast. Retain aim, and gather. Retain Sora to protect at all cost. Kratos must block power pellets of Shining Steal, mainly mechanical."

The Prince is as he appears in the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time series, with his time powers specifically from Warrior Within. He may transform into his Dark Prince alter ego at will. He additionally has his Djinn powers save for Power of Time and Memory.

Sora is as he appears in Kingdom Hearts 2 FM+ with his best non-broken equipment, and is able to use his Valor, Wisdom, Limit, and Master forms, though they aren't infinite, use the same gauge (starting with and limited to 5), and won't eat up an ally. He doesn't have Magnet, summons, limits (except in Limit form), any reaction commands, or invincibility. He may use THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP to summon Vergil into battle for 15 seconds at some point during the match. Vergil is as he appears in Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition, with all of his weaponry, skills and techniques from his boss battles in DMC3 and playable form in DMC3 and 4, though he does not have his canon regen. He may access Devil Trigger for up to 10 seconds every 5 minutes.

Kratos is as he appears in God of War 3. The only Godly Possessions in effect are the Hercules' Shoulder Guard and the Poseidon's Conch Shell. He and his weapons are fully powered up, however he does not have the Blades of Athena, the Soul Rip ability, and he may not turn invincible at any point in the fight.

Ryu Hayabusa is as he appears in Ninja Gaiden II, with all his weapons fully upgraded.

Bass.EXE is as he appears in the Megaman Battle Network series, with access to all the moves and properties of his Omega forms (including Bass Omega GS), though if any of his barriers/auras is destroyed, he loses access to all of them for the rest of the fight. He can operate here same as he does on the Net. He has a loadout of Samus Aran's equipment from Metroid Prime 3, giving him Nova Beam, Corruption Mode, Upgraded Grapple, X-Ray Visor, and Command Visor w/Gunship.

Lailah, Mikleo, Edna and Dezel are accompanying Bass.EXE into battle. They are as they appear in Tales of Zestiria, with an endgame skill build. They will enter battle with 5 Blast Gauges, and will be permanently invisible and inaudible to Sora, Kratos, Akuma, The Prince and Ryu Hayabusa. Only one Seraph may be on the battlefield at a time, with Dezel beginning on the battlefield, and the others dwelling inside him. He may swap between them as seen in the game, and inactive seraphim will heal gradually over time, including from death, but they are considered defeated once Bass.EXE is killed.

Lucina the Hellspawn is as she appears in Fire Emblem Awakening as a Level 20 Great Lord. She is equipped with the Parallel Falchion, Levin Sword, Shock Stick, and Gradivus and has the skills Aether, Pavise, and Rightful King. Lucina is also equipped with the Grandfather from Diablo 2, and is considered to be skilled in its use. She additionally has access to Diablo's Cold Touch and Bone Prison attacks from Diablo 2, Uber Diablo's Armaggeddon attack from the same game, and Diablo's teleportation, Fire Wall and Prime Evil's Curse from his Diablo 3 boss fight. She is no longer human and is as durable as Duriel, as seen in his Diablo 2 boss fight.

Raziel is as he appears in Legacy of Kain: Defiance, with all of his upgrades, equipment, and abilities from that game, with the exception of Phase Shifting and Possession. Once per match if he dies, he will immediately reanimate to full health at his starting location.

I'm not sure how a mostly flat location is 'terrain advantage'

I think Team Akuma trying to follow those, uh, orders might be more relevant

This is a map of it. It's sprawling but very easy to navigate, especially when you're...well, Johnbobb's team and Scare's team. Neither side cares about range because each area is small, and bombing the teleporter's a no-go with the Prince around.

I haven't played MMBN 2, but the Undernet is usually not flat. There are probably 2 or 3 Z-levels in each area, although these conveyer belts don't seem to be too annoying.

Yeah, even in the map you can see those diagonal ramps, which are representative of actual ramps upwards. There's definitely multiple floors to most Undernet areas.

Leaning Team Bass because of the big power gap between them.

Essentially what this comes down to

Team Akuma knows they have to kill Raziel immediately. They know that Bass is the most dangerous at long range. They know that what Vergil's Devil Trigger can do, and they know that gathering the enemy together (which is easy to do given Prince's slow-mo) will allow them to deal massive damage, especially if Raziel is out of the way.

If they kill Raziel, then they can really sweep up some of the rest (especially Lucina and the Seraphin) while he regenerates.

Kratos is perfectly capable of reflecting back anything Bass has to shoot at him, and is pretty easily the strongest force here imo. Dude kills gods; people like Ryu and Lucina are going to do very little to him.

Meanwhile Sora can keep the team pretty constantly healed, while also matching speeds with the fastest opponents.

And when/if anything goes wrong, they've got rewinds.

This is just a really tight, powerful and organized group with a jack-in-the-hole via Vergil's devil trigger and rewinds in case anything goes wrong.

The seraphin I have also have healing and any buffs he can make we can steal so at best for him his support cancels out

and if i don't get it, none of the mercs will, and this confusion from general akuma will weaken them
