Can someone with some actual drive find a statistic on the percentage of people who own a motorcycle that get hit by cars? I feel like it has to be so small.

I agree about 50%. I've seen bikers almost get run numerous times because someone wasn't paying attention or was just driving too close to them or whatever. When driving you should be aware of people on bikes and keep a bit more space in between you and the bike (if you're "tailgating" a bike and get rear-ended it's a much different story).

Bikers also shouldn't drive like assholes though. Like weaving in and out of cars and stuff? Thankfully most of the ones I know aren't like this.
