Paradox increased the prices of their games and DLCs in non-US markets to account for inflation, but they didn't do a very good job communicating that change with their playerbase. They've since reverted the price increases, but the reversion can't go into effect until after the end of the summer sale. If you are, then it's a fantastic game. If you're on the fence, then I would suggest not. It's an awesome game, but it can be hard to understand how to play. They've even REMOVED features from base games before then added them to a DLC. IIRC, if you want all the content for Europa Universalis 4 (a game that is years old) it runs almost $400. They've also not lowered prices since the game was released, unlike most games. Their recent attempts to raise prices was just the cherry on the shit cake.
