i got the muscle memory down for a song but i can't seem to get rid of those off-by-one misinputs. I'll practice playing a bar until I get it right but when it comes to linking it with the rest of the song, I mess up the bar again

playing one song without messing up is like trying to do a 300-hit combo with 1-frame links and pressure sensitivity
